You may need surgery some day and have your thyroid removed. My thyroid used to be quite noticeable. I got it to shrink by taking kelp. Adelle Davis in her book, Let's Get Well, recommends 3 mg of iodine per day for a healthy thyroid. That is 20 kelp pills per day since they are very weak. TSH ‘norm’ should be .3 – 3 (w/ most feeling best at < 2) but would not matter if ANTIBODIES are present.
