I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and I love to drink coffee. Is it bad to drink coffee? And what will happen if I do?

I was diagnosed in the past with a hypothyroid and was successfully treated with armor but had to stop my treatment because of a lack of health insurance. I have recently started receiving health insurance again but the endocrinologist that is covered by my insurance is for some reason not accepting new patients. My regular practitioner is claiming that I don’t have a thyroid issue which is the usual from all GPs, but I have all the same symptoms that I had before. The most frustrating symptom is thick itchy skin on my scalp and behind my ears, also joint pain and dry skin hair loss fatigue etc…
So my question is has anyone out there had any experience with porcine thyroid pills bought over the internet?
Or does anyone know of a endocrinologist or other talented thyroid physician in the Portland OR vicinity that is reasonably priced?
I was diagnosed with Goiter and a 3mm cyst on my thyroid after an ultrasound on my thyroid. I just today went and had a TSH blood test to determine is I have Hypothyroid. The question I have is my Doctor said I wouldn’t need to take medication for the goiter if my blood test came back fine but I have read differently on the net. Does anyone out there that has goiter take thyroid meds for it? or do I just leave it enlarged and not do anything about it? I am confused. I do have a family history of hypothyroid. Both my sisters have it. I will know more once the blood tests come back but do I still need treatment with just a goiter?
and I have had really bad fatigue in the past month of so. It got really bad about 3 weeks ago when my body felt sick but I had no symptoms of a cold or flu and I was extremely tired and felt achy.
I’m looking for natural cures or simple things I can do in my life to fight Hypothyroidism. Any ideas or suggestions? Do you have this? Had this? Thanks!
I’m a 20 year old female, and i have hypothyroidism treated by meds that i take every morning at 5am. Thinking about joining the Marines, afraid I won’t be able to make it through bootcamp.
Also, which would be more hypothyroidism-acceptable? Marines or Army?
